1. Who we are

Bushiline (“we”) publishes the Bushiline mobile app and the bushiline.com website. The publisher's full legal information (company name, registered address, registration number, publication director) will be published on this page.

2. Minimum age

Bushiline is for people aged 15 or over. By creating an account, you confirm that you are. We delete any account we learn belongs to someone younger.

3. Your account

You agree to provide a valid email address, to create only one personal account and not to impersonate anyone.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in methods (password, passkeys, two-factor authentication, Apple account) confidential and for what is done from your account. Tell us immediately about any unauthorised use.

Your @handle and name must follow the rules of conduct below; we may ask you to change them.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, videos, texts, voice notes and listings you publish. You guarantee that you hold the rights to them, including the image rights of recognisable people.

To run the service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, reproduce, adapt (for example resize or re-encode) and display your content in the app and on bushiline.com share pages, for as long as it is online. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to copies already shared by other members within the service and to legal retention obligations.

Posts and listings are public: all members can see them and, through a share link, anyone can. Messages are only visible to the people in the conversation.

5. Rules of conduct

On Bushiline, you may not publish, send or offer:

• any illegal content, including terrorist content, child sexual abuse material, and incitement to hatred or violence;
• harassment, threats, insults or disclosure of other people's personal information;
• nudity or sexual content, or violent or shocking content;
• scams, spam, fake profiles or impersonation of a person or organisation;
• content that infringes other people's rights (copyright, trademarks, privacy, image rights);
• use of the Globe or messaging to track, monitor or bother someone;
• any attempt to access the service without authorisation, disrupt it, or extract data from it by automated means.

6. Marketplace

The Marketplace lets individuals publish listings and get in touch. No payment, delivery or transaction goes through Bushiline: the sale is concluded directly between buyer and seller, who are solely responsible for it. We are not a party to the sale and give no guarantee about items, listings or members.

Prohibited items include: weapons, ammunition, drugs and medicines, protected animals, counterfeits, stolen goods, dangerous or recalled products, adult content, and anything whose sale is illegal in French Guiana, France or your country.

Professionals selling on the Marketplace must say so and comply with consumer sales rules. Listings expire automatically after a while.

Safety tips: meet in a public place, check the item before paying, never share your bank codes and be wary of requests for payment in advance.

7. Globe

The Globe is optional: location sharing is off by default. If you turn it on, you choose the precision shown (country, city, neighbourhood of about 1 km, or about 100 m) and who can see you (everyone, your followers or no one). You can change or turn off sharing at any time.

Your exact location is never stored or shown: it is reduced to the level you chose, then offset within that area. Your location is only updated while the app is open, never in the background.

8. Messaging

You can write to members who follow you or whom you follow; others receive a request they are free to accept or decline. Photos, videos and voice notes sent in chat are never public.

We do not read your conversations. When a message is reported, that message and the 10 messages before it become visible to the moderation team — nothing else.

9. Reports, moderation and sanctions

Any member can report a post, comment, listing, profile, message or Globe location. Anyone, even without an account, can report illegal content to us at support@bushiline.com.

Content reported by several members may be hidden pending our decision. Depending on severity, we may remove content, issue a warning, suspend an account (24 hours, 7 days or 30 days) or ban it. You are told the reason and can appeal the decision from the app; your appeal is reviewed by a person.

We report content to the competent authorities where required, in particular content endangering a minor.

10. Bushiline's property

The Bushiline name, logos, design, app and website are protected. You may not reproduce or use them without our written consent, beyond the normal sharing of links.

11. Service availability

Bushiline is free. We do our best to keep it available and safe, but it may be interrupted for maintenance, change, or have features modified or removed. We tell you about important changes in advance where possible.

12. Liability

We host the content published by members: each member is responsible for what they publish and send. We act promptly to remove illegal content as soon as we become aware of it.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for exchanges, meetings or transactions between members. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have by law as a consumer.

13. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time, in the app or at bushiline.com/supprimer-mon-compte. The account is deactivated immediately; you can cancel by signing in again within 30 days. After that, your account and content are permanently erased.

We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For important changes, we will tell you in the app before they take effect and ask you to accept the new version. Each version is dated and numbered.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. If there is a problem, please write to us first: we will look for an amicable solution. If you are a consumer, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge (contact details will be given here) and bring a claim before the competent court where you live.
